Orsa Ministries, Inc. is a 501(C) (3) faith-based non-profit agency with
programs to Homeless Young Adults (18-24 years) and services to Refugees in
Wichita, Kansas.
New Beginnings –Homeless Young Adults program:
Novus Orsa has taken the lead in responding to the City of Wichita’s solution for homeless young adults between the ages of eighteen and twenty-four. Our services will identify suitable candidates, engage, equip and empower this demographic group through stabilizing the living environment, educating, training and mentoring them using our Community Living Approach Model (CLAM). We not only provide housing, but also emotional, spiritual and professional support to our clients. Our goal is to prevent chronic homelessness among the 18-24 years population and help end the social welfare cycle by assisting them to lead productive lives in our society. In so doing, we will save society millions of dollars.
ALMENDRA –Refugee Services
Almendra is a program dedicated to helping refugees achieve successful resettlement in the USA and providing cultural, educational, and socio-economic development programs in the refugee and immigrant community. We also conduct humanitarian, educational, and socio-economic development programs in USA. Permanent and inter-generational welfare dependence has been allowed to take hold to a significant degree in some refugee groups.
